Town Park Fireworks on 31 October now opens at 5pm, display 7pm. Before it: the Black Literature Festival on the 18th and a half term of Halloween shows.
The biggest date in Enfield’s next six weeks is the last one in October: the council’s Town Park Fireworks on Saturday 31 October, Halloween night. The box office has moved the times later, so the gates now open at 5pm and the fireworks go up at 7pm. Before it come the Bee and Honey Show at Capel Manor this weekend, a nine-night run of a new Enfield-written play at Dugdale Arts Centre, the borough’s Black Literature Festival on Sunday 18 October and a half term week of Halloween events. Early November brings Diwali workshops at Forty Hall and an Eagles tribute at Millfield Theatre.
Updated 4 October: Saturday’s finished events removed, Chickenshed’s Halloween Tales (26 to 29 October) and a Halloween ghost craft workshop at Dugdale Arts Centre added. Our new Halloween in Enfield page brings the week’s Halloween events together.
Everything below comes from the organisers’ own listings, read on 3 and 4 October 2026, and every entry links back to its source so you can check before you set off. Where an organiser has not published a price, we have left it out. For places that are open whatever the month, see our guide to things to do in Enfield.
